Jennifer Madelin Burns is an award-winning, published, and commissioned artist, currently creating vivid oil paintings on primed canvas. She has designed products and catalogs for a major party goods supplier, as well as many other smaller projects. Her series on the environment reflects her concern for nature. Jen cares for the Earth in daily acts and as a religious practice, and has worked with teenagers to educate them and do road-side cleanups. She was first inspired to protect the environment by Pete Singer while on the Clearwater Sloop during a third-grade field trip.

Jen earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts / Painting from Purchase College in New York. Her past exhibits include the Ossining Women's Art Center and Beaux Arts exhibit at the Greenburgh Library. Several of Jen's paintings can be seen at the Monitor Hose volunteer firehouse in Ossining, NY as part of their permanent collection.
